The Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin haji has assured Kenyans that he will successfully lead the war against corruption and impunity.

Haji says that he is ready to give his life to ensure that corruption is wiped out in the country.

In a media briefing at his office on Wednesday, the DPP said that his office is committed to ensuring a corruption free country.

He said that Kenyans have been denied services by some government officials who steal from taxpayers coffers.

“I am determined to win the war against corruption and secure a corruption free Kenya for development,” the man who hails from Garissa County said.

The DPP stated that he is fearless, adding that his office will continue to collaborate with other agencies in the war against graft.

“We will continue to dispense our services despite the limited resources we have and assure Kenyans that they will not be disappointed,” he said.

On Tuesday, Haji ordered for the arrest and prosecution of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mbete Mwilu over graft-related offences.

The DCJ who was granted Sh5 Million temporary bond will appear in court on Wednesday to plead to corruption charges.
