Career minister Gladys Momanyi, who is serving his seventh year in Governor John Nyagarama's cabinet, says she has nothing to fear over her impending impeachment.
On Saturday, County Assembly Speaker Moffat Teya called for special sitting on Monday where impeachment motion against her will be for the first be tabled in the assembly.
And in an interview, Mrs Momanyi denied of any wrong doing, and accused MCAs of being insensitive about job. She's facing abuse of office and gross misconduct charges.
"I have just heard about the motion. They accuse me of abuse of office and gross misconduct. However, I am not aware of abusing my office as a minister.
"The truth is, these charges are just fake. Let me wait for the details. What I can assure you though, there is nothing to worry about. I am ready for them," she said.
Last month, MCAs also tabled impeachment motion against Public Service Management minister Bernard Osumo but he obtained a court order which barred them from discussing him.
For Mrs Momanyi, she is accused of running education committee without following various legislations. Bomwagamo MCA Charles Barongo is said to be the sponsor of the motion.
Also on Monday, MCAs are supposed to discuss the second supplementary budget, with only one month to official closure of 2018/19.
