In a post on social media, Etale wrote on how he saw the unidentified  MP and decided to call him.

Thinking that he was not being seen, the legislator told Etale that he was at his constituency working which was clearly a lie, according to the ODM director of communication.

Etale had spotted the MP from a distance from the balcony of a restaurant as the lawmaker was on his way to a chemist.

"I was in a restaurant in town and from the balcony, I saw an MP whom I have known for many years walk towards a chemist. Last time I saw him in person was June last year. So I decided to place a call to him with the intention of just saying Hi. I rang and he picked...Me... Hallo Mhesh, how are you?"

MP: Salama sana Etale.

Etale: Hope uko poa Mhesh, long time.

MP: Yeah niko poa, kazi tu. Kindly call me later kidogo niko function kwa Constituency.

Etale: Sawa Mhesh.

"I was shocked. Then I asked myself if he could lie to me and I am not his constituent, how many of his constituent's try to reach him in vain? Servant leadership is what makes a Leader, " Etale's post read.
