Over the weekend, outspoken Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi accused the Interior Minister Fred Matiang'i and Kibicho of allegedly targeting politicians allied to Ruto in some of their decisions.

"Dr Matiang'i and Kibicho should stop partiality in Jubilee. They cannot take police officers from those associated with Ruto in the name of redeployment," he argued.

Several security officers attached to politicians purportedly supporting Dr Ruto were withdrawn in what Interior ministry said was a normal reorganisation within government.

At Ekerenyo in Nyamira on Tuesday during launching of Huduma Namba drive, Kibicho insisted that Dr Matiang'i and himself are not interested in politics.

"I hear some people saying Dr Matiang'i and myself are targeting them. That's untrue because we are not interested in politics. We are just doing our work.

"It's wrong to profile us. The president chose us to serve Kenyans. We aren't interested in sideshows. Let government officers work without such toxic politics," he added.

Dr Kibicho asked Nyamira people to apply for Huduma Namba, insisting that it will help the government to plan and deliver services effectively in the future.

Area County Commissioner Amos Mariba said the exercise has been slow despite Dr Matiang'i launching it last month in the county. He however noted that officials are still working hard to bring everyone on board.
