Locals at Mabatini area in Kesses were on Saturday treated to a rare drama after a bodaboda operator and a matatu driver went physical against each other.
This is after the middle-aged bodaboda man accused the driver of sleeping with his girlfriend.
The drama began when the bodaboda man parked his motorcycle in front of the matatu and kicked out the driver.
"The bodaboda operator claims the driver slept with his girlfriend yesterday in a local resort," said one of the locals who witnesses the incident.
It took the intervention of some locals to separate the two who were heavily bleeding following the fierce fight.
Matatu drivers later ganged up and threatened to torch the bodaboda operator's motorcycle.
Locals decided to resolve the matter through a kangaroo court where both the driver and the girlfriend admitted to having slept together and apologized.
The bodaboda operator, however, declined to accept the apologies insisting that he will not accept back the cheating girlfriend.
"It is an abomination to share a woman with one of your society members. Had the affair remained secret maybe it could work out," said the angry man.
It now remains to be seen whether the matatu driver will move on with the girlfriend or all he wanted was a 'one night stand'.
