When Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen addressed Mau Forest evictees about a fortnight ago, he pledged to have Commissioner John Wafula Natembea grilled by the Senate.
According to the outspoken senator, Natembea had disrespected the citizens whom he is supposed to serve.
The commissioner allegedly told the evictees to follow a chopper carrying politicians after they had taken to the skies.
"After the plane carrying leaders, the commissioner told the citizens to follow the plane and go to Nairobi. That is condescension that we cannot allow. Legislators who are here, we will call him from tomorrow to come and answer questions. That is resolution number one," Murkomen said.
Scrutiny reveals that Commissioner Natembea has not yet been summoned to answer the questions.
Mau Forest evictions have been the subject of much debate.
