Despite recent high prosecutions including that of Migori Governor Okoth Obado over Sharon Otieno's murder, he says, the two offices works under the influence of some powerful forces.

"We have seen DPP and DCI making major arrests and even submitting overwhelming evidence like in the murders of Sharon Otieno and Monica Kimani. We have what it takes to prosecute these cases and even push for conviction.

"The sad reality is that these offices works under external influences. For instance, Jacob Juma's murder ramain unsolved despite being killed in a city with security cameras," he argued.

Mr. Mamboleo further says Juma's Mercedes Benz, which remains abandoned at DCI headquarters, could have give clue to who killed him and the reasons.

He further insists that justice system in the country is selective l, adding that most of arrests made are part of PR to vindicate a failing system.

"By now people who killed Juma or even Chris Msando should be in Kamiti. No arrests have been made and all we see is an abandoned vehicle."

Mr. Juma was assassinated in May 2016 in a murder case former presidential candidate Cyrus Jirongo linked Deputy President William Ruto directly.

When he took over, DPP Noordin Haji insisted that his office works Independently, dispelling fears that he is an agent of the state.

"We are not working under anybody's instructions. This is an independent office," he said during the arrest of DCJ Philomena Mwilu.

At the time of Juma's murder, current Environment minister Keriako Tobiko was DPP while ambassador Ndegwa Muhoro was DCI.
