The leaders took to their social media to express their views after the 'Red Devils' was clobbered by Paris Saint-Germain during a UEFA Champions League fixture on Tuesday night.

Playing at its home ground of Old Trafford, Man United was beaten 2-0 by the French side in a match which was full of dramatic moments.

PSG's goals were netted by youngsters Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe a few minutes into the second half.

There was a tense moment in the final minutes of the match when Man United star player, Paul Pogba, was given marching orders.

The French international was red carded by referee Daniele Orsato after he committed a second foul on Dani Alves on the 89th minute.

Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, a Man United diehard fan, termed Pogba's red card as 'silly' and noted it was a big blow in the team's effort to reclaim the coveted trophy they last won in 2008.

In a tweet, the Senate Majority Leader expressed hopelessness in overturning the defeat when Man United face PSG in return match next week.

"With that silly red card against #Pogba, We are out of the champions league. But we are forever #GGMU (Go Go Manchester United)," Murkomen tweeted.https://mobile.twitter.com/kipmurkomen/status/1095441093209001984?p=v

In a quick rejoinder, ODM spokesperson Philip Etale, a known Arsenal FC enthusiast, celebrated Man United loss, claiming they are used of getting undue favors from certain referees in the EPL.

"Pogba go out... this man is not Mike Dean (EPL referee) who pampers you like a baby," he posted.https://mobile.twitter.com/EtalePhilip/status/1095440815944597505?p=v

"That is how small teams are beaten. Thank you PSG," Etale added.https://mobile.twitter.com/EtalePhilip/status/1095434012775104518?p=v
