In a press conference on Monday, Sudi, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, asked Moi to 'stop shooting helicopters, go to gym and support Ruto'.

"If it's Gideon Moi you're telling us, then he should first go to gym, stop shooting helicopters (archery) and join Ruto for us to support him in feature," he said.

His statement came days after MPs Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills), Silas Tiren (Moiben) and Joshua Kuttuny of Cherangany accused Ruto of orchastrating maize farming crisis in Rift Valley.

But sensing Moi's hand in the MPs, Sudi inisited that the Baringo senator does not have academic papers thus unqualified to lead the country.

"If it's Moi you're telling us, just let him go back to school. He does not have papers at all. Don't tell us about the fake degree from their Kabarak University.

"He failed in London and I am sure he doesn't have anything to present to IEBC. He's just like me despite his good English," he claimed.

Mr Moi has intensified campaigns to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta and by the fact that his family has a special relationship with Kenyatta family, Ruto's allies believe that he may be using the advantage.

Soy MP Caleb Kositany, a close ally of Ruto, claimed that Gideon is blocking Ruto from seeing Moi, a claim Mr Tiren disputes.

"There is protocol in seeing such a leader. When their time comes, they will see the old Mzee," said Tiren, who has since ditched Ruto.
