As the Muslim community prepare to commence the Holy Month of Ramadan from tomorrow, President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent out a message of goodwill to all Muslim brethren.
In a message sent by the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU), the Head of State sent warm wishes to all Kenyan Muslims as they embark on the holy month.

He further recognized the importance of the festive month as they embark on devotion and reflection of faith.
"As a nation, the period of Ramadhan always gives us all an opportunity to reflect on the beauty of our cultural and religious diversity.
"Faith continues to occupy a central place in the well-being of our nation and religious institutions play a key role in the promotion of essential values of unity, tolerance, compassion, charity and integrity," he added
President Kenyatta reiterated that religious values are critical for the well being of the individual, families, and the entire nation.
"As our Muslim brothers and sisters devote themselves to strengthen their faith during this period, we join them in solidarity and recognise the place of faith in consolidating our national unity.
