Harambee Stars will have a feel of London when they play the Jamaica national team, Reggae Boyz in a friendly match geared towards preparing the team ahead of the 2019 Afcon tournament.
FKF President Nick Mwendwa noted that the national team will also play two more friendlies before a final clash at MISC Kasarani, on 26th March, that will wrap up Harambee Stars friendly campaign.
Albeit, the Jamaica game will depend on the host nation of the Afcon, who is yet to be named after Cameroon were stripped of the chance to host by CAF.
“The Jamaica game is subject to the next host the Afcon. If the tournament heads to South Africa, then the match will be of no use to us, due to different weather in London and South Africa," noted Mwendwa.
Meanwhile, Mwendwa has asked CAF to confirm in writing 'that Harambee Stars have qualified for the 2019 AFCON games' to avoid last minutes debacle.
The FKF President's request comes on the backdrop of Starlets last-minute disqualification from the concluded 2018 African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament.
Stars will play their last match of AFCON qualifiers match against Ghana in Accra, on 22nd March, next year.
In addition, Stars are likely to camp in France for a three week to prepare for the Afcon, also subject to the host nation.
The 32nd edition of AFCON is slated for June/July 2019.
