Former Kathiani Member of Parliament Wavinya Ndeti has shot at Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua for taking credit for projects done by the National government.
Speaking on Wednesday in Nzukini, Masinga Sub-county of Machakos county, Wavinya said that Governor Mutua should stop taking Machakos residents for a ride.
"While Mutua was being interviewed at a local radio station on Tuesday he took credit for some projects which belong to the national government, it's shameful he has nothing to show," said Ndeti.
She cited that Mutua is just a con artist who has taken Machakos hostage with his 'sweet' lies that haven't been realised.
She observed that Mutua should put his house in order and focus on delivering his promises instead of making new ones day and night.
"He claims he's the brainchild behind Ndengu Revolution which he never started in Machakos but feels jealous when he sees the Ndengu revolution has been actualised in Kitui county," said Wavinya.
She urged Machakos leaders to push the governor to provide better services to the people.
"It's time our leaders stood up and spoke on behalf of the people against the unscrupulous Machakos government which is misusing public funds for over five years", she said.
