The invention of WhatsApp changed the way we communicate. It was some sort of modern-day fire. Or the wheel in communication. In fact, so popular is WhatsApp that it will soon be considered a verb just like google.
It is so common to hear people saying ‘whatsapp me those pictures.’ However, underneath the beauty of this marvel, there are habits, in its usage, that makes people think less highly of you. These are:
Disabling the blue tick
The blue ticks have to be one of the greatest inventions. In it, you know that someone has read your message, and has no intention of replying. You make a choice whether to continue bothering them or just ignore and live your life. Then there are those who disable it for reasons that we only have to consult a witchdoctor to understand.
Disabling 'last seen'
As for me, last seen motivates me whether to send a message or call. If I can see that the person’s last seen was three days ago, I presume that he or she was lost their phone or something, and proceed to call. As far as many people are concerned, they could go hungry but never miss data bundles. So imagine how life for when you want to talk to some whose last seen is as mysterious as NYS money?
Have a separate WhatsApp number
There are those people who insist on having a separate number than the one they use on a day to day basis. Nobody knows the sophistication behind this, neither the justification. However, if you were me, I would think less highly of you. Synchronize you communication numbers. It does no harm.
Using WhatsApp GB
If you are in a relationship and your partner is using this form of WhatsApp, please run for your life. It has many features that ultimately enable one to cheat. In other words, it is a privacy beast. You could wonder why they just don’t use the normal WhatsApp.
