Kalonzo says his party is still committed to the NASA agenda contrary to media claims of having pulled out.

Speaking to journalists at the Strathmore University on Thursday, Kalonzo said utterances by some Wipers' Ukambani politicians that the party is no longer a member of the coalition are false.

He said NASA's agenda remains active, adding that as top leaders they will be meeting soon to strategize.

"NASA is still alive and Wiper is also still a full member of of the coalition," Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo said though the coalition has been dormant, the same should not be perceived to mean the coalition is dead.

A section of Wiper politicians have been quoted asking Kalonzo to pull out of the alliance.

The politicians argue that Kalonzo is not getting any value in the Alliance and that he should focus on his 2022 bid in Wiper.

Kalonzo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NASA leader Raila Odinga to fly the Alliance presidential ticket in 2022.

However, there have been claims that Raila may not honor the MoU after failing to win the 2017 presidential election.

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, a member of the alliance who has since fallen out with Raila says the alliance is dead.

Wetangula says his Ford Kenya Party is no longer a member of the Raila led NASA coalition.
