A 27-year-old man was on Monday charged in a Nakuru Court for allegedly sodomising his friend.
According to the prosecution, Davis Koros is accused of allegedly sodomising his 37-year-old friend.
The court heard that the accused committed the offence on the night of January 31 at Kaptembwa slums in Nakuru County.
According to police report, the complainant was sodomised by Koros after sharing a bed at night.
The accused who lives in Bomet County had secured a job with a construction company at Kaptembwa, Nakuru.
Koros travelled to Nakuru and requested his friend to allow him spend the night at his house.
On the material date, Koros invited his friend for drinks within Nakuru town before going back to the house at around midnight.
When they arrived at the house, the two shared a bed and when the complainant woke up two hours later, he was shocked to find that Koros had sexually assaulted him.
The complainant reported the matter at Kaptembwa Police Station which led to the arrest of the accused.
The accused denied the charge before Nakuru Principal Magistrate Bernard Mararo.
Magistrate Mararo ordered for the accused to be released on a Sh200,000 bond with surety of similar amount.
The case will be mentioned on February 7.
