According to the Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) Leader, the past regimes have done little to change the lives of Kenyans. He opines that a revolution could be the only way Kenyans can benefits from the resources in the country.

The activist, who unsuccessfully contested for the Nairobi governorship seat in the August 8, 2018 general elections, also said that the problems facing this nation are brought about by poor leadership.

He urged Kenyans to stand up against the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

He has also Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) by Uhuru and Odinga terming them a waste of time.

“We need a revolution because the intractable problems facing Kenya and other African states are structural, architectural and institutional. The neocolonial state was designed to oppress and exploit Africans; not to empower them. Only a revolution can TRANSFORM and change that, “he said.

Miguna, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, has also rubbished the extension of Presidential term limit. He argues that the idea of extending the President term in office is retrogressive and ill-timed.
