Before Joseph Irungu alias Jowie publicly proposed to TV girl Jacque Maribe, he was unknown to many.
The proposal, beamed live on Instagram, achieved its intended purpose as it catapulted the hunk reveler to the life of a celebrity.
Jowie, it seems, knows a trick or two in the advertising world; you hang around a brand and steal the airtime.
But little did he know that the publicity he milked from Maribe was nothing as what was to thrust him to the limelight is a murder case.
Police suspect that Jowie is the person who tied Monica Kimani at her Kilimani house in Kilimani, went for a knife and slit her neck before dumping her body in a bathtub.
In trying to unmask who Jowie truly is, we have been able to identify his ex-lover.
Jowie was dating Maureen Kahehu, a University of Nairobi graduate with interest in modeling.
