Through his political career, Raila has personally penned down two autobiographies; Flames of Freedom and The Quest for Nationhood, Roadmap to our future on top of the biography that is well known; Raila Odinga, the Enigma of Kenyan politics.

In an interview on Wednesday with KTN, Mr Odinga said it was paramount for him to document events including his role in peace missions across the world.

"I am going to write about my experiences on the continent. I was involved in the peace process in Burundi, In Mozambique, in Nigeria, in Cote d'Ivoire etc plus the fact that now I am the High Representative to the AU.

"All these I have not recorded," he wrote on Twitter

Apparently, his intentions to write another book comes barely a few months after his former advisor cum critic, Dr Miguna Miguna wrote an explosive book implicating his character as a fighter for democratic space.

In his book; Treason: The case against Tyrants and Renegades, Miguna accuses Mr Odinga of abandoning the struggle for reforms and subsequently joining Jubilee administration which he has fought for years.

"How Raila Odinga BETRAYED the Kenyan revolution. Excerpts from a chapter titled TRAITOR in TREASON: The Case Against Tyrants & Renegades - pages 392-393. This is the FINAL excerpt, provided to readers for free in the public interest," Miguna wrote upon launching of the book.

The duo parted ways when the government of Kenya refused to allow Miguna entry to the country, with Mr Odinga insisting that the Canadian based lawyer failed to surrender his passport as required by the law at JKIA.

Mr Odinga has had a lucrative political career which started with arbitrary detentions in 80s during Daniel Moi's regime.
