The two met on Thursday night at a hotel Mombasa and had a lengthy discussion.

According to those privy to the meeting, Kenyatta was in Mombasa to ‘relax’ after a grueling election period in 2017 and the stress of putting up his government after the election.

He was ‘relaxing and playing golf’, a source said.

Raila, however, flew to the Coast on Thursday afternoon where he later met Uhuru at night.

Impeccable said the meeting started at 8pm and went late into the night.

The meeting has brought speculations about a looming cabinet reshuffle and the possibility of ‘Raila’s people’ being nominated into powerful positions.

Since the handshake, the Uhuru-Raila relation is slowly being viewed as a form of nusu mkate government that is yet to take full face.

However, the President is said to operate so secretly this days that crucial details are no longer leaking.

In the night meeting, not even Raila’s right hand man in the Coast Hassan Joho was allowed to be present.

Joho is said to have escorted Raila but excused himself after a few minutes and left the two alone.
