Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has now warned Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni against intimidating youthful leaders.

Speaking at Parliament buildings, the lawmaker said that it is unfortunate that there is no democracy in Uganda several years after independence.

He also said that he will lead a revolution into Uganda to ensure that residents reap from the fruits of democracy, adding that he does not fear arrest.

“We have been arrested before and we do not fear Museveni. We will be taking a revolutionary demonstration to Uganda because it is high time things change in our neighbouring country. We cannot sit, and watch injustices being committed in the continent,“ he said.

Owino who is known for his vocal nature on matters affecting the common mwananchi also said that he and others will not allow Museveni to suppress the will of the people through his oppressive rule.

He further said that Museveni has proven beyond doubt that he is unfit for office.

There is scanty information about the condition of Wine since he was arrested.
