Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Thursday morning met a few of his allies and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) seniors at his Capitol Hill offices in Nairobi.
This was before he headed to the Parliament for President Uhuru Kenyatta's state of the nation address.
At Capitol Hill, Raila held a meeting with Party National Chair and Suba South lawmaker John Mbadi, Treasurer Timothy Bosire and Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga.
In a tweet on the party's Twitter handle, the deliberations revolved around a wide range of issues affecting the ODM.
"This morning, H.E Raila Odinga held a consultative meeting with Party Chairman John Mbadi and Hons Gladys Wanga and Timothy Bosire at Capitol Hill Square.
They discussed a wide range of issues concerning the party," reads the tweet.
The office has been playing a major role in hosting delegations seeking an audience with the former Prime Minister and has at times even hosted ambassadors and cabinet secretaries.
At around noon, Raila left the premises for the National Assembly chambers where he was an invited guest, alongside his fellow opposition ally Musalia Mudavadi of the Amani National Congress (ANC).
Also present was Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
