It is said that examinations come and go, however, the pinch of the examination is felt when the transcripts of the academic year are released.
This is one of the most stressing moment at the university as students are left in a deep quagmire of scoring below 40 marks.
Currently at the University of Eldoret, many students are in a somber mood as they receive the 2017/2018 academic year result. The result has been a disappointment to many who did not expect to get supplementary.
Most of the students have been left in the abyss of wonders of how they were not able to get good marks despite using all the possible means to pass the examination; including copying from desk mates who got better marks.
Hilariously, when the students see an A in their transcripts, they believe that it was because of their hard work and effort. However, when they score marks that are against their expectations, they say that the lecturer, out of dislike, decided to give them the poor grades. Some of the students have not gone for the transcript just to avoid any possible stress that the results may come with.
The students will now have to pay Sh400 for every unit they score below 40 marks for them to sit for the supplementary examination. The special and supplementary examinations have been scheduled to start on 15th of October.
