On her Instagram post, Lillian Muli further noted that she will now concentrate on raising her children.

This was after it was discovered that Jared Ombogo, Muli's ex-husband, had a string of women in his life including 3 failed marriages in the United States (US).

Social media users seem to be divided with some attacking the Citizen TV anchor and others siding with her.

Eldoret ladies, on the other hand, pointed out some of the crucial lessons that their fellows should learn from the failed marriage.

The first lesson comes from Rita Jeptoo, a third-year student in the School of Education at Moi University and also a business lady based in Eldoret town who believes it was wrong for Lillian Muli to announce that she had broken up with her husband on social media.

"The most important rule when it comes to breaking up is never to announce them on social media or make it public. Such a move makes a lady look desperate. People may even start judging you. So let your break up remain private," Jeptoo explained.

Beatrice Kemunto a business student at Moi University West Campus presents the second lesson in which she advises ladies to always do background research on their partner before settling down with them.

"It is clear that Lillian Muli knew nothing about her husband otherwise she would have discovered about the string of women he had before her. So it is noble for a lady to invest in knowing her partners' history before settling down with him, otherwise, she will only end up heartbroken," Kemunto argued.

Finally, Rehema Abdullahi a final year media student at Moi University and also a seasoned journalist believes women whose careers put them in the limelight should always be extra cautious because some men may be after them because of their social status.

"My advice goes out to my fellow media students and any other person whose career puts her on the limelight; always be extra cautious when it comes to men. Mbogo was not interested in Lillian Muli but rather her social status. If he really loved her, then he would have been open from the beginning," Abdullahi advised.
