Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has found himself on the receiving end hours after rubbishing claims of having a meeting with Deputy President William Ruto in Karen.

On Thursday, reports went round on social media that the senator was having a meeting with his political DP Ruto at his Karen residence.

 In  a tweet,Moi dismissed the reports saying that it was a ‘propaganda by a wing of the political divide desperate to hoodwink Kenyans’.

Some Kenyans expressed mixed reactions with the manner in which Moi refuted the claims. A number of them opined that it was unwise considering that DP Ruto's home was an official residence, adding that it wasn't a crime to have a meeting.
