For years now, Bosire has been leading anti-Ruto campaigns in Kisii and Nyamira Counties, a move that has attracted criticism from a section of politicians from the region.

A fortnight ago, Ruto was endorsed by legislators from Nyamira when he toured while launching various development projects.

Ben Momanyi (Borabu), Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango), Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango), Shadrack Mose (Kitutu Masaba) and Jerusha Momanyi, the county MP backed Dr Ruto.

In a phone interview on Saturday, Bosire accused Ruto of hoodwinking voters through launching of old projects that were started by previous regimes.

"I have seen him in Kisii and Nyamira Counties for over twenty times. All along he has been purportedly launching projects. But where are they? asked Bosire.

"He thrives on cheating people. He has her relaunching old projects and this is not a good sign. Let him just change his ways and be honest," added Bosire.

According to him, Ruto has launched several projects in Nyamira but none is yet to start. He also accused Ruto of being behind stalling of Magwagwa Multi-purpose dam.

But Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has defended the DP, arguing that most projects which are yet to start, will be in place after the 2019/20 budget is fully operational.
