Jubilee Vice-chairman David Murathe continues to find himself on the receiving on the end after leaders associated with Deputy President William Ruto inner circle attacks him for disowning Uhuruto pact.
Lately,Kikuyu Mp Kimani Ichung'wa has roasted him on Twitter over remarks made in Mbale during Maragoli Cultural Festival. Ichung'wa, who is Deputy President William Ruto's close ally blamed Murathe's remarks to festive drunkenness, adding that he would sober up with time.
"Holiday season iko na ulevi zingine mbaya to some people.Lets pray alipewa maziwa kidogo...kidoooogo tu and he will sober up," (The festive season has terrible drunkenness to some people. Lets pray he's given some milk to recover and sober up) Ichung'wa tweeted.
Ichung'wa has in the past been quoted saying there are politicians plotting to block Deputy President William Ruto from getting to State House by changing the Constitution through a referendum are daydreaming.
Murathe asserted that people from central Kenya owes no one political debt. He further stated that Dp Ruto should retire together with President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
The cultural event brought together leaders from the region who spoke of Luhya unity ahead of 2022 presidential election. Among those present were Devolution Cs Eugene Wamalwa, COTU boss Francis Atwoli and Makueni governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana.
