Senator of the United States, John McCain has died.
The late McCain died on Saturday at the age of 81.
His death has shocked not only Americans but the entire World.
Ex- Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has joined former US President Barack Obama and the incumbent President Donald Trump in mourning the politician's demise.
Ndeti took to social media and wrote: “I convey my condolences to the family, friends and the American people following the passing on of a great patriot - John McCain. In the end, it matters less that you can fight. What you fight for is the real test." ~John McCain.”
In his message of condolence, Obama said the senator's demise is a big loss to the nation.
The former US president said the deceased was a strong man who dreamed of making America a better place during his active days in politics.
"John McCain and I were members of different generations, came from completely different backgrounds, and competed at the highest level of politics. But we shared, for all our differences, a fidelity to something higher – the ideals for which generations of Americans and immigrants alike have fought, marched, and sacrificed," Obama said in a statement.
Trump eulogized him by saying: “My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!”
