On Tuesday, Kalonzo updated an emotional and touching tweet that has surprised many.

On his tweet, he mourned the late Catholic Archbishop Njenga in a style that touched many peoples' hearts.

Kalonzo recalled the time he visited the late Archbishop, saw his jovial smile upbeat strong and now he can’t imagine that he is gone.

The former Catholic Archbishop was laid to rest at the Holly Family Basilica in Nairobi on Tuesday.

The mass was presided over by Cardinal John Njue. 

The late retired Archbishop Emeritus John Njenga was a man who sacrifices himself to do the work of God in different parts of the country.

Kalonzo who is still morning his late father sent a plea to God with touching spiritual words.

He asked God to grant the late Archbishop an eternal rest and let the perpetual light shine upon him as he rests in peace. 

President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto were among government officials who attended the funeral service at the University of Nairobi.
