An 18-year-old man was on Friday night arrested in Mathuki area, Kitui County after he was allegedly found engaging in a sexual act with a cow.
The suspect identified as David Mutambuki is reported to have crawled into a cattle shed belonging to one Phylis Mwathi armed with four sachets of condoms.
According to police reports, the suspect was spotted by one of the neighbours who notified the owner.
The owner is said to have busted the suspect half-naked and had tied the hind limbs of the cow with a sisal rope.
The owner raised alarm attracting the attention of neighbours who arrested the suspect.
Police from Mathuki AP post arrived at the scene after being notified of the incident and took the suspect away.
The man was held at the AP post for a few hours before being transferred to Nguni police post. The suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday after the officers conduct investigations into the matter.
"Today 18/4/2019 at around 2100hrs, at Mathuki AP headquarters, one Phillis Mwathi of phone number 0736..... reported to the Station vide OB NO.11/18/4/2019 that while inside the house, Kalekye Wambua aged 40years and of phone number 0796.... called her and informed her that she has spotted a person at the cattle den," read the police report in part.
