Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has continued his onslaught against President Uhuru Kenyatta as he looks forward to making a comeback from Canada.
Miguna, who was sent to exile for taking part in the mock swearing-in of Raila Odinga as the 'people's President' on January 30, 2018, now claims that President Kenyatta wants to use Huduma Namba to stop him from returning to the country.
He said that the requirement whereby one must have a Huduma Namba to get a passport is a clear scheme to deny him his right.
He claimed that Uhuru and his team are using all means to ensure he doesn’t land in the country. He has, however, insisted that he is a Kenyan citizen and no one will infringe on his rights.
“Uhuru Kenyatta and his goons - @FredMatiangi and @GKihalangwa - are aware that I'm on my way home. Their unlawful declaration that Kenyans require the #HudumaNamba before being issued with passports are part of their ILLEGAL barricades to stop me from re-entry into Kenya,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
During the launch of Huduma Namba, President Kenyatta noted that it will significantly reduce corruption in the government following its adoption.
He urged Kenyans from all walks of life to embrace the project for the sake of development and transparency.
