The MP was speaking on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show Wednesday night, where he wondered why the DP is always at the centre of every corruption scandal.

Citing Ruto's interference in both the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal and the recent bizarre allocations in Kiambu County government's budget, he urged the DP to keep off.

"Ruto awache kujihusisha na kila sakata, tumemwona akiingilia mambo ya visima, pia juzi akajitokeza kumtetea Gavana Waititu (Ruto should stop involving himself in each scandal, we have seen him interfere in the dams scandals and was recently defending Governor Waititu)," he said.

However, in response, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa who is a close ally of the DP hit back at Savula, telling him to clear his name in a recent scandal where he allegedly collaborated with his two wives to steal public money.

He told the MP to stop pointing fingers at others, terming him a bigger suspect, considering that he was even arrested alongside his spouses.

"Savula ni mfisadi na juzi amekamatwa kwa mambo ya kuibia wakenya pamoja na bibi zake. Yeye alichunguzwa na kukamatwa, awache kumtaja Ruto katika kila kitu.

(Savula is corrupt and was even arrested alongside his wives for stealing Kenyans' monies. He was investigated and arrested, let his stop linking Ruto to everything)," he said.

Savula and his wives, Hellen Kemboi and Melody Ringera, were arrested in October 2018 over allegations of stealing Sh122 million from the Government Advertising Agency (GAA).
