Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has reiterated that his ambition to become the next Kisii County boss in 2022 is unavoidable.
According to Maangi, Kisii County voters have trust in him and without doubt, he will be elected the next governor.
"There is no doubt about my gubernatorial ambition in 2022. I wish to confirm that I am ready to face my opponents for the county top seat once my boss Governor James Ongwae completes his final term," he stated.
Maangi urged opponents to focus on constructive politics and stop misleading members of the public.
"The electorates deserves to be in peace and get the required development. Local politicians engaging in divisive politics should stop since propaganda won't make them winners in the next general elections," he added.
He challenged elected leaders to put aside their political parties and work around the clock to realize development across the county.
Maangi dismissed claims that level of corruption at the devolved unit is high adding that officers from EACC, DCI and DPP offices are free to visit the county for graft investigations.
