Speaking during the issuance of bursary to a tune of Sh6 million to all the needy and bright students joining form one from Nakuru West sub-county, the MP said no student will drop out of school due to lack of fees.

The legislator added that this will help address the disparity that has been experienced in the past where only the rich get the best schools.

He added that his office will continue to follow up on those joining form one to ensure they continue with their studies without any hitch.

“We realised that many needy but bright students miss out in schools due to lack of school fees and that is why we have decided to give up to 6 million shillings bursary to all the students joining form one from this sub county,” he said.

Nakuru Town West is one of the densely populated sub-counties in Nakuru County with majority of the families living in slum areas of Kaptembwo and Rhonda.
