Silale Ward MCA Nelson Lotela was on Wednesday rushed to hospital after he was injured when a fracas broke out at the Baringo County Assembly.
An MCA who preferred anonymity said Lotela was roughed up by his colleagues.
He was rushed to Baringo County Referral Hospital moments after hell broke loose in the over differences on Tuesday's disbandment of the County Public Service Board.
Lotela, who is a Kanu ward rep, is said to have been beaten up by other MCAs when they disagreed on the membership of a new County Public Service Board.
Early in the morning, tension was high at the assembly as screams attracted members of the public to the dramatic scenes.
Other sources said a section of KANU MCAs ganged up against Lotela who was reportedly defiant on the agreement on who to forward to the board.
