In one of the news source in the country, the former national speaker was once caught in a videotape angrily speaking about the exclusion of the Somali community.
In a viral tape that surfaced online early 2017, Farah Maalim was seen cautioning the Somali community to be aware of activities in its county.
He claimed that some people were out to dispossess them of their land.
Farah decried said that some jobs in the region were not being given to the locals.
He also went ahead to criticise the government for not being loyal to the Somali community.
‘’Where is the pride of the Somali people? Neighboring communities are not genuine in their assistance and intervention. But they only want to destroy our people and take over the land and resources of the Somali people,’’ he railed.
Farah Maalim vied for Garissa township member of parliament in last year general election but was defeated by Aden Duale.
