The leader of Majority in the National Assembly is never afraid of speaking his mind on issues facing the country.

In April 2015, days after the deadly Al-Shabaab attack on Garissa University that left 147 students dead, Duale came out alleging that he had a list of politicians and top individuals allegedly funding Al-Shabaab.

Duale claimed that he would present the list to investigators in 30 days as he protested police raids in Eastleigh.

The Garissa MP had claimed that the raids in hunt for suspected terrorists and their sympathizers were targeting the Somali and Muslim community.

The Garissa MP further claimed that the community had been branded terrorists and they were unsafe.

The MP was under pressure from other leaders to reveal those funding the terror militants.

Duale, however, failed to produce the list as he had promised.

The MP has since been calling on the government to tighten the war against terror.

Duale now wants the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) to remain longer in Somali saying that their presence in the war-torn county is good for Kenya.
