Diamond Platnumz father Mzee  Abdul Juma has said it will be very disappointing if his son becomes broke.

Mzee Juma has said Diamond is so fearful when it comes to poverty that he is forced to work hard to maintain what he has.

Diamond Platnumz who is considered to be among the most successful artists in East Africa runs a number of businesses including in media industry in which he owns television and radio stations, Wasafi TV and Wasafi FM respectively.

He also releases back to back songs that have been earning him endless world music tours across the year.

The singer's father in a recent interview shared on YouTube on September 2nd said it will be so heartbreaking if his son runs out of cash considering his current high standards of life and the fame he has gained for himself and to the family.

"I love him because he hates poverty and he is afraid of it, which makes him know what to do in life, for such like a person it will be heartbreaking if he becomes broke, even myself it will be hard for me to walk around.

Juma said he is much respected because of Diamond and he is humbled for that.
