National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale insists Deputy President William Ruto's success in politics should be attributed to discipline and general organisation of his aide Farouk Kibet.
Mr Kibet along with a powerful team of David Mugonyi and Emmanuel Talam are responsible for organising meetings and rallies for DP William Ruto, and at times they work together with elected leaders.
On Friday at Turbo constituency during Kibet father's burial, Duale heaped praises on Mr Kibet, highlighting his ability to control high octane requests.
"In the office of the DP, there is good good at around 1:30pm. The person who can give or deny you is Kibet. He can even throw you to a different day for a meeting but he ensures that happens.
"When you see these MPs praising him don't think it's a joke. They want to make him happy so that things run smoothly. Farouk is the engine amongst us," he noted.
Hundreds of legislators from either political divides thronged into Mzee Paul Kibet's funeral, another manifestation of the popularity Kibet enjoys.
Rarely does Kibet miss in Ruto's activities that even when corruption scandal is attributed to the DP, his name also surfaces.
DP Ruto described him as a 'loyal servant', adding that he has stood with him during 'good and bad times'.
