NASA leader Raila Odinga has been urged to advise President Uhuru Kenyatta on how to deal with economic matters in this country.
This comes after the Head of State rejected Finance Bill 2018 which could lower fuel prices.
Kisii County women representative, Janet Ong'era, said Raila should step in and help in advising President Uhuru Kenyatta to address the hike in fuel prices.
"Raila agreed to shake hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta. I am urging him to intervene and advise Uhuru on how he should deal with economic matters in this country," she noted.
According to Ong'era, the Head of State is lacking good financial advisers who should advise him accordingly.
"Uhuru could have signed the Finance Bill 2018 if he had good financial advisers. Kenyans can't continue buying fuel at high prices. It is time Raila should do something urgently and help in saving Kenyans from digging deep into their pockets to buy fuel," she added.
She also said Kenyans are being subjected to a high cost of living, yet the government is borrowing huge money from foreign countries which end into the pockets of a few individuals through corruption dealings.
