Three Members of Parliament allied to to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party have come out in support of their leader and opposition boss Raila Odinga.
This comes at a time when to former Prime Minister is locked up inna war of words with Deputy President William Ruto regarding the reignited war on graft.
Speaking on Friday, Abdulswamad Sharif (Mvita), Mark Nyamita (Uriri) and Anthony Oluoch (Mathare) bashed the DP for hushing Raila on the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal.
They also took issue with Ruto's recent remarks that only Ksh7 billion was paid to the contractor which was a disapproval to an initial revelation that the nation has lost Ksh21 billions.
The trio which was addressing a press conference at the parliament buildings is now laughing at the DP for being part of a confused government, hence the contradicting reports.
"He need not to contradict officers serving in the same government with him. It amounts to sabotaging investigations when he attacks constitutionally sanctioned independent offices such as the DCI [Directorate of Criminal Investigations] and EACC [Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission],” MP Nyamita was quoted by the Nation.
The remarks came only hours after Ruto, speaking during the 6th Annual Devolution Conference in Kirinyaga said that Raila doesn't have any authority to comment on the matter.
