The two, Diana Wanjiku and Vivian Chepkorir were allegedly fighting over a man.

Eyewitnesses say Wanjiku had approached Chepkorir who is a bartender in the area to caution her against financially exploiting her husband.

"You are nothing but a home-wrecker. My husband is now poor because of you. He spends his entire salary buying drinks from you and you take advantage to exploit him," Wanjiku shouted at the woman.

According to Wanjiku, her husband who is a secondary school teacher always spends his entire salary on alcohol at the bar. She also accused Chepkorir of being the reason why her husband always comes home late and drunk.

"This is my workplace. Let your domestic problems remain at your home. It is not my fault that you cannot control your husband," Chepkorir shouted back at Wanjiku.

The argument quickly turned violent when Chepkorir slapped Wanjiku during the altercation.

Angered, Wanjiku charged at Chepkorir and wrestled her to the ground. A fierce fight between the two then ensued.

Area locals tried separating the two to no success. Unfortunately for Wanjiku, Chepkorir overpowered her.

She was beaten badly and nearly stripped and forced to walk away in embarrassment while shouting threats and warnings at Chepkorir.
