The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has now come out to react after the 2019/20 budget allocation was read by Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich.
Taking to his twitter account, the controversial lawyer, Miguna pointed out that the budget should have concentrated on the elimination of thievery of public resources, creation of jobs, good health and food security among others.
“The only useful measures Kenyans want and would support in any budget including #BudgetKe2019 are the elimination of theft of public resources, repatriation of trillions of shillings plundered and robust provisions for job creation, health, education, food security and infrastructure,” he said.
The Canadian barrister also noted that the measures announced by Treasury CS Henry Rotich are meant to enslave Kenyans.
"All the "measures" announced by Henry Rotich during the #BudgetKe2019 on behalf of Uhuru Kenyatta are comical jokes intended to strangulate Kenyans and turn them into permanent slaves of monopoly capital and their local surrogates. #DespotsMustFall,” said Miguna.
This years budget reading was interrupted with a lot of drama which started after Wajir East Member of Parliament Kassim assaulted Wajir Women Rep Fatuma Gedi. Mr. Kassim wa arrested and waiting to be charged.
