The event took place at Karen Blixen Museum in Nairobi on Saturday. 

Invited family and friends witnessed the legislator seal their 7 year-old-marriage. The two met back at the University of Nairobi in 2006.

The best man of this flashy wedding ceremony was Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot while comedian Jalang’o was the MC of the event. 

Taking to Facebook, a man called Charles Kipkulei posted pictures of the event and captioned them:

“Congratulations my friend, comrade, leader and brother Hon Nixon Korir and your lovely wife Beryl Zora Korir on your wedding today. It is an honour to witness your blessed union."
