Talking of having a brighter future behind your back, Merab Faith has it even brighter.
She is the newly crowned Miss Curvaceous in a highly contested pageantry organized by Alter Empire at Cloud 9 Lounge in Eldoret town.

Just to start with, Faith is a single lady who is a student at the Maseno University taking Bachelor of Education Arts with IT. Her passion for modelling is exemplary and she decided to pursue it because of her inspiration to comprehend the position of plus-size models and their impact on the modelling industry.
“As an academic, I had always been interested in the notion “ideal weight”. I wanted to try to understand the position of plus-size models. I believed that no woman has to defend her body, it should be about what you are doing in the world,” said Miss Curvaceous.

According to Faith, her strength is not on her voluptuous body but on her commitment to making sure that she completes everything she starts.
Something ironical with the beauty queen is her attitude to balloons. She really dislikes balloons even though her back resembles them. She has an irrelevant feeling that the balloons would pop at any given time.

Faith has also been able to coach petite models even though she is a plus-size model, an achievement that many people think is weird.
“People think that it is weird for a plus size woman to teach petite models and they ask me how I manage to carry all that weight,” added Merab.

Even though she was discouraged by believing that winning a sachet in modelling needs a tall lady of silk complexion, she was overwhelmed and shocked being crowned Miss Curvaceous.

Lastly, the curvaceous Faith believes that life is 10 per cent of what happens to her and 90 per cent of how she reacts. This helps her in dealing with uncomfortable situations.
