Self-proclaimed Prophet David Owuor will on Sunday hold a mega national prayer rally in Nairobi.
The prayer rally themed ‘National Day of Repentance, Reconciliation and Peace’ will be held at the Central Park in Nairobi.
In an advertisement published in local dailies on Thursday, Prophet Owuor of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness Church says that the prayer rally must be attended by all government officials and Kenyans.
Prophet Owuor enjoys massive following in Nairobi and other parts of the country.
He has been calling on Kenyans and politicians to repent their sins or face God's wrath.
The controversial prophet has on several occasions been criticised by a section of his critics who accuse him of brainwashing his followers.
Owuor is also known for his flamboyant lifestyle as he is always heavily guarded during his rallies.
In December 2018, during a prayer rally in Nakuru County, Prophet Owuor raised eyebrows when he was accorded security by hundreds of uniformed police officers using State vehicles and motorcade.
Owuor has however defended his ministry from criticism, stating that he is serving God.
