Muhoroni Youths FC has suffered a major blow after one of their players was killed in a tragic road accident at Rabuor, along Kisumu-Nairobi highway.

Jonathan Juma Nyamwaya, popularly known as Ottoo Wuod Nyawasi met his death on Monday, at Rabuor area while cycling back to Muhoroni where he has been based currently as he plays for the club. 

Nyamwaya who was a former Griphins FC player hails from Nyalunya, Kolwa Central Ward in Kisumu East Sub County. 

His former coach, Zach Odida who's currently manning Kolwa All stars and Falcon Queens FC eulogized Nyamwaya as the best footballer Kolwa Central Ward has ever had.

“One of the best footballers Kolwa central ever had, am saddened, can’t believe this sad news, rest in perfect peace Otto Wuod Nyawasi,” said Odida. 

Nyamwaya who was a Muhoroni Youths key striker was pronounced dead upon arrival at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH), Kisumu. 

His body has been kept at the facility's morgue.
