On January 18, 2017, in Kisumu, the former The National Alliance (TNA) Party Secretary General sensationally claimed that President Kenyatta and his deputy under the Jubilee coalition did not win the March 04, 2013 General Elections.

Oloo claimed that it was ODM party leader Raila Odinga, who emerged victorious in the presidential race saying “I know what happened".

"Raila was to swear by the Bible as the President and I have a lot of secrets to that effect which I cannot share publicly,” Oloo was quoted as saying

“It is not a laughing matter. I have come with a lot of secrets in several files that I will share with Raila as we prepare to take over the next government,” he added. He made the allegations soon after joining Raila Odinga’s ODM party.

His allegations were however denied by a section of leaders in Jubilee, key among them Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja then nominated MP and TNA Chairman.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto won the 2013 elections and there is no doubt about that, that is a matter that was put to rest and anyone trying to insinuate otherwise is trying to push a very myopic, personal agenda to find relevance in the opposition,” said Sakaja.

Before then, Onyango Oloo was a fierce supporter and defender of the President and his deputy.
