Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has hit headlines after she reportedly refused a seat for local flights because of her big behind.
Reports from insiders indicate that Omanga wanted the PSC to allow her fly in the Cattle Class because she cannot fit in the Economy class.
The alleged request has continued to elicit mixed reactions from different quarters.
“It is true the Senator wrote a letter which the commission rejected on the grounds that we cannot give everyone who is well-endowed special treatment.
This will give other MPs with different challenges grounds to put demands on us,” said a senior official at the commission.
Senate Clerk Jeremiah Nyegenye, however, said that he was not aware of the request.
“It would not be in order to discuss details between the commission and the members with a third party or give documents.”
