Citizen TV Journalists who attended this year's devolution conference in Kirinyaga County have been robbed valuable by unknown people.
According to presenter Stephen Letoo of Citizen TV, they lost a variety of valuables when they were covering the ongoing conference that started on Monday and will go on till Friday.
Through a twitter statement, the journalist said the Royal Media Service crew lost cash, Cables, Mc book laptops, PXW Camera, hard drives among other valuables that belong to both Citizen and Inooro TV.
"Citizen TV crew that I am part of has been robbed in Kirinyaga during the ongoing devolution conference. Mc book Laptops, PXW Camera, Citizen TV branded microphone, bags, money, cables and hard drives for both Citizen and Inoooro TV," stated Letoo in a tweet on Monday.
The thugs are said to have smashed the window of a double-cabin vehicle the crew and the presenter had placed the items while they were having lunch at Kutus giving them access to items inside.
They have so far reported the incident to police who are conducting an investigation to identify the culprits involved.
The devolution conference kicked off on Monday 4th March and will take 5 days
