A former Member of Parliament from Gusii region has warned Deputy President William Ruto against taking lightly Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria's declaration that he will run for Presidency in 2022.
Ex-Bonchari MP Protus Momanyi argued that MP Kuria may be serious with his presidential ambition.
"MP Kuria should not be taken for granted by DP Ruto. He may be looking joking but, in the real sense he is serious to vie against DP Ruto," he noted.
He said if Ruto won't be strategic enough, he will be shocked by his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta endorsing a different person for the big seat come 2022.
"I wish to advise Mr Ruto not to trust so much people surrounding him. Let him be prepared to go for the top seat in 2022 alone even if he will not be endorsed by his boss," he added.
According to the ex-lawmaker, MP Kuria is being used by a section of Central region leaders to frustrate DP Ruto's presidential ambition.
"Ruto should have a strong team to help him win presidency in 2022 failure to which he will be sent to his Sugoi home," said Momanyi.
